Tu B’Shvat, the New Year for Trees, is a celebration of nature and renewal, often observed by planting trees, participating in environmental activities, and enjoying a variety of fruits, particularly the Shivas Haminim – wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and dates which are associated with the land of Israel.
